The sunrise was absolutely beautiful and very fun riding in the jeeps with a cute picnic on jeep rooftop as you wait for the sunrise. Agus Kurnia was our driver he was amazing!!! We got him to take us on a day tour the next day, we had so much fun 10/10 recommend Agus. :)

Did this excursion with my sister and we both loved it! Our driver was punctual with picking us up from our hotel, and provided coffee and tea before going up the mountain. The only people we saw who were cold were wearing shorts and tank tops. We brought our own snacks but there was food and hot drinks you could also buy while waiting for the sunrise. Our driver Mertha was awesome and he took A LOT of incredible photos of us both at the sunrise and at the lava field.

Beautiful Sunrise

The sunrise was beautiful, absolutely with it. Also our guide was extremely helpful, our two wheeler got stuck while coming and he arranged a pick up and drop for us all by himself at a bare minimum price. Would definitely recommend.

Everything worked out as planed and our Jeep driver Anom made sure we had a great time. With the sunrise we had a good breakfast and he kindly took lots of photos of us. After that we drove to the Black Lava and the Hot springs. We had a really good time and recommend this tour!!

Many thanks to Agus and Made our drivers. They made this experience amazing. Agus looked after us brilliantly all day and Made drove us in his jeep up the mountain.It was amazing! Agus was great and friendly, very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Interesting Journey

Interesting journey for folks who have not experience the view of sunrise from a volcano (alive). The driver who took us from our hotel to the meeting point, a 2 hours journey and then 2 off roaders waiting for us to take us up to Mt Batur in 30 min. We did not realise it was that cold.....16 celcius. Had a fall and driver help with cleaning the wound after dipping into hot spring. Overall it was a very good experience and thank you to the team....and a friendly dog which was too happy to play.

Fully-packed experience for good price

The whole day was quite an experience and we did so much!! The driver picked us up at 3.30am from our hotel in Ubud and then drove us to the north where we met our jeep driver. Then you drive further north around lake Batur to an area, in the dark, where you will watch the sunrise. There were hundreds of jeeps, so this is not a “intimate” experience. The driver is very nice and takes photos and videos for you, as much as you want. Unfortunately for us, the sunrise was not so great as it was so cloudy, but still picturesque. The breakfast they serve you at the top while you wait for the sunrise (around 5-5.30am) was NOT good- white bread with some kind of mashed bananas. We didn’t eat it. I would highly recommend bringing your own breakfast or ask your hotel if they can pack you a breakfast box otherwise you don’t have any opportunity to get food until about 12:00. After the sunrise we drove in the jeep to see black lava rocks, which was okay, but feels kind of just for Instagram worthy photos. You don’t get much explanation about anything. The drive is very bumpy so would not recommend if you have a bad back. After that we were reunited with our original driver, who took us to the Batur Natural Springs. That was very very nice, very refreshing and beautiful views- but of course filled with hundreds of tourist who just did the sunrise experience. Finally, we were taken to a coffee plantation about 45min drive away (time for a nap!) to taste test a few different coffees and teas, which was very nice. The view from the tasting was beautiful. It does however feel a bit tourist trappy, as they only walk you through a nature bit for 2min where they show you cacao bean, coffee bean and maybe jackfruit and other fruit trees. There isn’t much explanation or seeing the process of coffee making. And of course afterwards their aim is to sell you the coffee and tea products. Nonetheless we were happy it was short as by that time we were exhausted from the very early start. Overall a good fully-packed experience for a good price, especially if you have limited time in Bali.

Amazing driver, experiences and scenery

The overall experience was 10/10.. better than expected and we were lucky enough to have a perfect weather for the sunrise. It was a pleasent ride with 4-wheeler and the driver volunterily took amazing pictures for us. Although I would highlight our driver Agus Kurnia as a star for our trip due to his nice english & communication skills. We learned so much about Bali culture, amazing places to visit & some overall Bali traveling tips from him. Definitely recommend this activity, especially with Agus, you will see, experience and learn a lot from this.

Unforgettable experience

Made transported us for the jeep sunrise tour, it was an excellent and unforgettable experience! He was on time and professional. We then had a driver take us on the jeep who also took us to the black lava area. He was very attentive and friendly and make the experience enjoyable. Thank you Made & Team.

Beautiful Sunrise Adventure

This experience was truly beautiful. If you enjoy nature, views, and scenery, this is for you. There was so much to see throughout the drive, and we had fun with all the other jeeps that joined. Our driver was great and he took a ton of photos for us.

Excellent trip

Everyone was explained on the steps in the confirmation email. Pick up arrived on time and the pick up spot selected. Took us to mountain and to see the volcanic rock and then took us home back to our preferred drop off spot. Everyone was really friendily. Views were amazing. Highly recommend! Tom

Great Experience - Highest view of a sunrise in Bali

We had a very great time watching the sunrise from a mountain view. We could even see all the way to Lombok, to Mount Agung and the sea in between which is breathtaking. Breakfast was a bit basic and it was a bit crowded with other tourists (as in other hotspots on Bali) but the view was unique and worth it. Our driver Made was very nice and the whole trip (also to the Black Lava Stone area) was entertaining and fun.

Amazing Experience with Jeep

From start to finish our driver Agus Kurnia was excellent and super friendly He picked us up and drove us to the jeep tour where we met our jeep driver for the morning. Our tour was super personal and went the extra mile by asking us if we wanted photos and that we don’t need to rush and just take our time Included a balinese Coffee and Breakfast At the end our driver took us to a coffee plantation which was a bonus “ you get to sample different teas and coffees all produced there and you get a guide “ for free “ who takes you around and shows you what’s what Will defiantly recommend it to any of our friends and family
