Genuine Guide giving the most incredible experience

INCREDIBLE! Being tourists it’s easy to be sucked into tours or trips that don’t offer what you wanted to do. We booked with him very last minute after our host at Vinayak Guesthouse recommended him. We said exactly what we wanted to do and the time we had. We did exactly that.. and more! He took us directly to each location (all 9 of them!) and set up pick up locations that were easy to find and really helped us. Albert Hall Museum, Hawa Mahal, Isarlat, Amber Fort, Water Palace, Printing workshop, Royal Gaitor and Nahargarh Fort! All in all, it was a very flexible, informative and budget friendly trip. I couldn’t recommend him enough and will happily tell everyone about the experience we had!

A great day tour of Jaipur!

My husband and I had an excellent tour of Jaipur and the surrounding sites. Our guide, Vakil, was extremely informative, helpful, and a lot of fun. He had great advice about what to see and what was more of a tourist trap. Would definitely recommend if you're in Jaipur and looking for a way to see the attractions and the city!

Amazing day out in Jaipur

Jaipur quick tour

We didn't have much time in Jaipur unfortunately due to our train. However Vakill our driver gave us a very good, detailed tour of Jaipur for our time frame. He was a great guide, funny, and informative. Everything we needed. He also got us to the train station in time to catch our train, and guided us to the correct platform.

Super tour of Jaipur

We had a great day touring Jaipur with Super Duper Salim - as it clearly states on his windscreen! Salim was very helpful with great knowledge of the area and took great care of us. Salim’s English was excellent and his jokey banter will stay with us, as a memory of our enjoyable day.

Reliable, prompt, nice and fun driver, guide and photography fixer

Had an amazing 4 day tour with salem and rafiq. I was focused on my photography projects and everyone was really helpful and put a lot of effort in my photos. The people are warmhearted, good to talk to and know jaipur and Rajasthan by heart. They own multiple nice cars with AC and are super reliable and always arrived on time. I met rafiq and salem already 5 years ago in jaipur and their service is still one of the best. Highly recommend to everyone Rajasthan tourist.

We met Salim Mohammad at the station in Jaipur. He offered his help and he took us to a nice hotel where we ended up staying for a couple of days. He stayed our driver for the next days and was always very kind and reliable, showing us the best places in Jaipur and around. We spent the whole day with Salim. He showed us the most interesting places in Jaipur. This is the monkey temple, and the famous Amber Fort, and the elephant village, and at the end of the day we saw an incredible sunset at the Nahargah Fort... The program was very eventful and Salim helped with everything, told interesting stories and did everything as professionally as possible, helping to resolve any issue our stay in Jaipur.

Wonderful time

We had an excellent time with Rafiq. He was very thoughtful and constantly ensured that we had a great time throughout the day. The traffic was quite bad so we finished the day later than initially agreed on, but Rafiq was understanding about it and did not charge us extra. Overall, we had a great time and were really happy with this tour! Would highly recommend.

Convenient, good advice, always on time

Sarda was a good driver. Hiring a driver for a whole day was very convenient to see the sightseeing. We went to Nahargarh fort, Jaigarh fort and Amber fort. It cut the hassle of having to get a new driver every time.

The sites, food and shopping were incredible - but the best thing was meeting Rafiq he was the best guide I’ve ever had, super welcoming and took amazing care of us while bringing us to the places we wanted and adding some local recommendations - be it restaurants, shops or monuments. A gentleman and a scholar! I hope to see Rafiq and Rajastan again some day!

Amazing driver and guide

Rafiq was an excellent guide and an amazing driver. He is very kind and generous with his time, he even bought us dessert at the beginning of the tour. He gave us all the details and what to watch for in every place we visited so that we don’t get scammed. The lunch was equally amazing. Finally all the places he took us shopping were great and no one was pushing for a sell. All in all a great experience and I definitely recommend it!

Great day out

I had a really lovely day out with Rafiq, we saw a lot of places and didn’t do exactly what on the list recommended by the hotel but to be honest I preferred it as we got to see even more things as he said we could the tailor the tour to whatever I wanted! Rafiq’s car broke down at the beginning of the day-he really quickly remedied the transport issue and we carried on smoothly. Thanks for a lovely day out! We had hired a sedan 4 sitter from sawai madhopur to Jaipur for 4 days for 3 members. It was well manage by tour company. Our driver Ramzan bhai was very friendly and helpful. Good car tour of Jaipur

Rafiq was a knowledgeable and polite driver. He showed us around Jaipur and took us to some nice places. He knows a lot of the different shops around Jaipur so if you want something in particular, let him know, and if not, you may want to let him know as well.

A great experience with Salim!!

Salim is a very professional, kind and trustworthy driver/guide. I was in Jaipur for a break in the middle of a solo business trip and I was lucky enough to run into Salim as he was sent by the hotel for the airport pickup. He then organised several visits for me including the Amber Fort and also took me back to the airport early in the morning of my return flight. Salim is a very friendly guy and he immediately made me feel very confortable and safe in a city I'd never been to. He is extremely attentive to his passengers' needs. I would most definitely recommend his services, as dozens of tourists before me for several years!! Thank you Salim!!!

Great guide, catering for individual needs

We went on a tour with Akram Khan, our driver was sardar Ji. Both did a fantastic job as a team - we started out with hawa mahal, continuing for city palace and the mausoleum of the kings. Finally amber fort, lunch & two shops we had selected prior to our tour on recommendation of Bombay friends (Anantaya, Anokhi). The guide was knowledgable and very kind, Ada payed the tour as we went to cater for our individual wishes and made sure we were enjoying every moment. The driver went in a safe, comfortable way and was also very kind and in close contact with the guide. Would do again and recommend to any friends/family coming to Jaipur!

Rafiq proved to be wealth of interesting information about Jaipur and its very rich history and culture. As a shopping guide, Rafiq knew exactly where to go to source exactly what we were looking for. No pressure, just good advice. I would recommend Rafiq's services to anyone visiting Jaipur.

Jaipur Sight Seeing

Salim was our taxi driver on our first night in Jaipur. He quickly sold us his services for the following day. For 1500 rupees he drove us to Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Albert Hall Museum (the price does not include entrance fees or the journey up the hill to Nahargarh Fort). We were also taken to his friend’s textile shop and jewellery store (they obviously want you to buy something but not too pushy). Salim is friendly and chatty. He has good (achaa!) advice about the city and took us to a tasty lunch spot. The car is very clean and the air con is a life saver! ps. we opted out of visiting the elephant village after doing our own research

One day in Jaipur

The best tour organizer in Jaipur

Rafiq was the most amazing tour organizer. We were a family of four, with one Indian, and three foreigners, including a 4 year old child. I contacted Rafiq in advance and told him my needs. We wanted two half day tours instead of one full day tour because our daughter would not have been able to manage the July heat and humidity for more than 4 hours per day. He went much beyond his published services at our request. He picked us up from the airport at 11pm and was present the next day at the hotel at 10 am along with a guide. We decided to leave the itinerary to them and they customized it perfectly for us on the go based on our collective mood. Rafiq is not just the organizer, he was also the driver and had a rich knowledgeable of the history and geography of the region. He recommended a visit to Haathi Gaon or Elephant Village, which was the highlight of our tour, apart from the forts and arts and crafts workshops/outlets. He also recommended amazing fine dining but traditional restaurants for the evenings where foll dances were performed. He also agreed to drop us off at Agra in the third morning by car and went beyond what was required of him. He made a detour to the amazing Chand Bawri stepwells en route and was also happy to stop over at Fatehpur Sikri for no extra cost. We were very thankful that he also helped organize a professional tour guide to the Taj Mahal at very short notice. We had arrived at Jaipur fully entrusting ourselves into the hands of an unknown tour organizer based in reviews online and were fully satisfied with his professional conduct and planning. He improvised on the go as we requested in the most incredible and positive manner. I highly recommend Welcome India Tour Jaipur and Rafiq, the owner, to anyone who would like a professional organizer and driver.

Jaipur and Agra - a personal guide

Rafiq was amazing - his concern for my safety and personal comfort was wonderful. We saw all the best sights and experiences in Jaipur. I was treated to great foods and learnt so much about Jaipur and its culture.
