Fabulous if we hadn’t had to queue for half n hour

The cruise was great but having bought e tickets I thought it was wrong that we still had to queue for half an hour. Definitely worth going when it’s dark as was so pretty. I would recomend

Great river trip

Great trip with a great waterside view of Marina Bay. Well worth the money and would recommend anyone to take the tour.

Enjoyable cruise in the rain

On advice of another relative we scheduled for 6:30 PM, although I would suggest a little later to enjoy more of the lights. It was raining and I thought it would be a total bust but still enjoyed the tour immensely.

Great intro to Singapore, got many good pictures. Only thing is the trouble i had using my tickets. If u don't buy directly from the river cruise y may run into resellers who don't even bother to purchase the ticket for you until you arrive. they send u a .pdf with all the info but not the qr code, so there y are calling Dubai or somewhere and sending whatsapp messages to get your code so u can get on the boat. This part was not fun. I thought I was paying some extra for the comfort of knowing I had tickets in my hand but it did not turn out this way. And if you can't make it, the tickets are non-refundable so since they never actually make the purchase for you until you call them it's a double win for them. You are better off going to the pier and getting the tickets there. There are quite a few boats available.

Not very professional

The cruise was good. But when they sent the ticket bu whatsapp I only received 3 tickets when I did order 4. When asking where the 4th ticket was, the person replying on whatsapp told me 1 ticket was for 2 children. Which is not true. I asked again and didn't get a reply. Luckily the lady at the counter agreed to give me the fourth ticket. Only after did I received it from them. Also note that the ticket needs to be presented at the counter to het a physical one. Which can take time, so arrive earlier.

River cruise was a nice experience

Was nice to have a different view from the river. The video that was shown along our ride explained so much of the history behind the iconic buildings. Highly recommended it. Loved the flexibility in having an open ticket.

Boat tour

It's a quick tour, if you have nothing better to do take it. I went too early, Singapore is beautiful at night. Go after dark!!!

Take in SG on a layover

Interesting and relaxed. Best way to take in SG if you only have a few hours layover. Train from Changi airport and a short stroll to the jetty.

Good guide, spectacular experience

We had a good guide, he shared us a lot of interesting information without loosing itself in "let me show yoy hoq much I know" we have seen a spectacular view of Singapore, several interesting stopps Deserves. But do not make online rezervations. We had a lot of troubles with it.

Good all round experience

Couple hours delay between booking trop and actually going so ensure book in advance. Trip was excellent, guides on boat were informative & friendly, pointed out kabdmsrks & provided baxkground on them,asssited in taking photos

I loved the cruise as it was informational but still fun

I liked the river cruise it was fun. I learnt a lot about singapore as a tourist it was quiet eye opening. I came to study in singapore because of how impressed i got from going on this cruise:)

Do not book this through Tripadvisor

The site is misleading. You book for a certain time, but it turns out it is an open ticket and you just have to stand in line when you want to go. It also cost six dollars more if you use an E ticket instead of just walking up to the kiosk. Don’t pay the extra money. It’s totally unnecessary. However. The boat ride was lovely. You really should do it at night to see the lights.

Good tour on a good night

The cruise was nice, relaxing and interesting. The only negative was the that the audio commentary of the sights was impossible to hear. They need to have more than just one speaker. We had a good night and were outside, but if it were raining, the view from inside the cabin would have been very poor. The tour on a hot sunny day might be unbearable, so try to go after 7 PM.

great way to see Singapore highlights

Good value and great way to see Singapore lit up from the river at night .Efficient and simple ticketing and good informative video as you go. The only downside was that we timed it to see the light show at the gardens by the bay not realising that the boat turned back before that point. Recommended all the same.

Singapore viewed at night from river

Sailing time required when booking with Viator but vendor sends vouchers via WhatsApp and they are valid anytime which was great for us as we booked earlier than sunset and wanted to experience a night cruise. Show QR code at kiosk on Clarke Quay and jump on any boat. They are going continuously, not on the half hour. If you want to sit at the back in the open, just loiter around and get in the next queue. No issues, a very slick and enjoyable operation. Time it to depart around 19:40 as the light show on Marina Bay Sands is 20:00 and it takes 20 minutes to get to Merlion Park. Plenty of places to eat and drink while waiting for your preferred departure time.

One time Activity but worth my Time

During my recent trip to Singapore, I enjoyed a river cruise that offered a fascinating glimpse into the area's history and culture. Although there is an indoor area to escape the rain, it can get quite crowded, making it challenging to take unobstructed photos. As a result, I found myself having to rely on editing to capture those perfect moments. Overall, it was a memorable experience that beautifully combined history with the unpredictability of the weather.

A different view of the Quays

It’s a short, quiet trip from Clarke Quay through Boat Quay to Merlion Park and back. I recommend going about 7:45-8:00pm so you can see some of the light show… otherwise it’s just a slow boat to nowhere with a few photo opportunities.

A friendly crew made everyone feel welcome. The running commentary was entertaining and provided interesting information along the way. The cruise ran to time and was relaxing and enjoyable.

City's looked more majestic from the water

Upon arriving at the boarding point, I simply presented my e-ticket on my smartphone, and I was promptly ushered aboard the cruise. As a boat glided along the Singapore river, I was treated to stunning views of city's cultural, historical landmarks.

Definitely the must to go when you are here. Beautiful view everything nicely lit and quite long also in terms of time. If I went back, I'd do it again
