Walking tour with an Indian gentleman not to be missed.

Our walking guide, Anand, was so helpful. We were unable to make the time arranged and at last minute he agreed to meet us in the afternoon instead. Anand is a smart, well presented and knowledgable English speaking man who walked us all around the town to areas we would have never visited. He talked us through customs, what to buy and what not to buy, historical points, recent and ancient history and, when visiting the Hindu temple, pointed to the meanings behind the incredible carvings - so interesting. This is a great tour which I would highly recommend.

Our guide was fantastic and very flexible with our schedule. He took us to some wonderful places and explained everything very well. I would recommend anybody who has a day in Udaipur to do this walking tour!

Outstanding Guide

Anand was an outstanding guide for my wife and I on a walking tour of old Udaipur; he was personable, knowledgeable, and extremely adaptable to our interests. Anand is highly informed about Udaipur and all the sights we saw, and was able to explain them clearly (in English), and we especially appreciated that he didn't "over-explain", so we didn't feel inundated with information, but stimulated by what he shared. The route we took was completely altered to our interests, and he stayed with us well beyond the appointed completion time to be sure that we were fully satisfied. We never felt rushed or pushed; we also had very interesting conversations with him about India. Overall we highly recommend him to any future guests or visitors.

Best half day tour in Udaipur!

Amazing tour with professional guide. We felt that walking was best to go around the city as the roads are narrow and traffic was busy. All the questions we had were answered with detailed insights. He even helped us get to the monsoon palace after the tour. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a half day tour!

Hi-quality experience that helped us adjust to and enjoy Udaipur

We were visiting from California and this was my partner’s first time in India. Our guide went out of his way to make this an amazing experience for us — arranged comfortable hotel pick up at last moment, guided my partner (female) around history and experience of palace and old town udaipur, even helped her feel comfortable walking the busy streets. I was feeling sick on the day of the actual tour so he regularly found places I could rest. Overall, my partner was thrilled with the experience (and she had a high bar and expectations) and we both had a great time in udaipur due to this tour!

We were so lucky to have Yogendra as our guide. He was exceptional. Yogendra showed us not just the tourist sights in Udaipur's old city but more importantly a slice of everyday life. He shared his knowledge with such enthusiasm, and tailored the morning to our interests. My wife, who is a teacher, especially appreciated being invited into a classroom. But generally we delighted in seeing parts of old Udaipur we would never have discovered without Yogendra. You'll be very fortunate if you get him to show you around as well.

Top quality tour experience!

Hands down the best guide I’ve had my whole trip in India! Guide Anand was extremely knowledgeable and kind, providing excellent detail and color to every stop on our journey. He met me at my hotel in the morning and gave the option of tuktuk or motorbike to get to our starting point, as cars can’t navigate the old city well. I picked the bike and he was a safe and excellent driver! The pace and tone of the tour was ideal, and I can’t recommend Anand highly enough!

Great value - you definitely won't regret this tour!

Excellent tour with Anand. He knew so much and explained so well, in really good English. He was happy to stay and show me so many other things, as well as old town, vita Palace and temples, we visited gardens (my wish) as well as a lake and a hill top view of the city. Had a very good tour....

Had a very good tour. Although I didn't get the guide that I thought I was but a friend of his which I thought was a bit unfortunate - if I would have known that I'm sure I could have found a random one cheaper. But communication was good and flexible!

Stellar tour of Udaipur's highlights and hidden gems!

Vikram was a stellar tour guide! He went above and beyond to show and tell us about beautiful Udaipur, its history and heritage. Though we were signed up for a half-day tour, Vikram was in no rush and stayed until we were saturated with a full day of fun and interesting sightseeing. He helped us navigate the markets and get a peak into artist guilds and off the beaten path cultural treasures in his city. He was humble and kind throughout. If you're considering a meaningful tour of Udaipur, Vikram will not disappoint!

Great overall experience!

I found Mr. Yogendra’s number on google when my husband and I visited Udaipur for a couple of days. He was extremely helpful, right from helping us find a parking spot for our car to suggesting a wonderful restaurant where we made a reservation for dinner upon his recommendation. He showed us around the prominent landmarks around Udaipur and told us some very interesting stories. It was a truly immersive experience and Mr. Yogendra was a true gentleman. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends when they visit Udaipur!

Best way to experience Udaipur!

WOW! This tour was beyond AMAZING. Mr. Prem was our awesome tour guide and he took such great care of us as he showed us the beautiful city of Udaipur and he was super knowledgeable and talented. We loved the different stops, shops, and being able to walk through the gorgeous city. This is a must do when visiting to experience the city. Highly recommend and would do it again in a heartbeat!!

Best experience in Udaipur, you can't miss it!

We had a great experience with the walking tour! First of all it was very easy to book and undesrtand the different kind of activities that were proposed. Once on site, our guide Buphendra, was absolutely gentle, charming and he had a great knowledge not only about the city itself but also about culture and tradition of the locals on litterally every kind of field. We really loved the tour! Now the review should be over but the day after the tour my girlfriend was sick and we tried to ask them for help because we didn't know anyone else. In 5 minutes they succeed to find the best doctor in town, even though there was a strike that day. Absolutely magic, our thanks would never be enough! Italian: sono proprio bravi, fatelo!

Beautiful Udaipur

We took the most incredible tour with Mr. Bhupendra. He knew every corner of the city palace and told the most interesting stories with humor and accuracy. This was so much more meaningful than just wandering around aimlessly. You must go with a guide, this caring and professional to really get the full experience of the city palace and I highly recommend Mr. Bhupendra!!

Fantastic Udaipur walking tour

Yogendra was a fantastic guide, he was friendly, made sure everyone in our group was comfortable and adapted the tour very quickly to meet our interests. Our walking tour of Udaipur together with Yogendra was amazing! He took us to see one of the ghats, the Jagdish temple and city palace, as well as showing us some of the local parts of the old town. Yogendra has so much knowledge and shared so much interesting information with us and was happy to answer any questions we had about Indian history, culture and religion. Exploring the old city of Udaipur

We spent a wonderful morning with Yogendra, exploring the beautiful old city of Udaipur and the World Heritage palace in town. Yogi guided us through city streets and magnificent cultural sites with impressive knowledge of the region’s history and culture. Excellent guided tour in Udaipur

Yogendra was an excellent guide during our short stay in Udaipur. On very short notice we were looking for a guide to us on a waking tour in Udaipur old town. We were so lucky that Yogendra was available. He took us on non-touristic tour and showed us all the gems of the old town. His knowledge was impressive and gave us the best possible insights. Yogeshji is an extremely knowledgeable and a very warm person. We were very keen to explore the old Udaipur which in my opinion is the best part of Udaipur and were very lucky to find him. We started our tour at around 5.30 pm in the evening and time just flew by. He did not rush and gave us a thorough walkthrough of old Udaipur with so many interesting stories of different places which we would not understand if we would have explored it ourselves. 10/10

A thorough understanding guide

Excellent, friendly and professional guide. Yogendra is well versed and flexible. He was given the details only the night before. But he came well prepared and was flexible to our needs. He came to our hotel to pick us up even though the pickup point was different.He is very experienced and understands the local culture. Suggested many good shopping spots. Very trustable and knowledgeable. It was also particularly nice that he knew all the good spots to take nice pictures and was kind and patient enough to take several photos each time. If visiting Udaipur, definitely pick Yogendra as your tour guide!

Excellent Intro to Udaipur

After traveling in India for a short while, I quickly learned that the best way to book a good guide is through a referral from another good guide. Yogendra came highly recommended, and rightly so! Such a wealth of knowledge, friendly, and flexible based on our interests and energy. Udaipur is a wonderful place but it can also be daunting. A guide like Yogendra makes it relaxing and fun.

Authentic guided walk

Yogendra is a friendly and genuine guy with a very calming presence that matches the beautiful city. We kept the itinerary flexible and he introduced me to interesting sights that we passed along the way. We visited local schools, markets, perfect photo spots, in addition to the typical sights such as the city palace as listed in the itinerary. I felt more like a friend being introduced to his hometown rather than a tourist. It was just me (solo female traveller) and Yogendra and I felt like I was in safe hands the whole time. Communication before the tour was great too - it was all a very smooth and certain process.

Amazing Tour Guide

Yogendra is probably the best tour guide to have in Udaipur. He gave us a very informative tour of the city palace tailoring the tour our taste. He gave us a nice tour of the old city and showed us all the hidden gems and brought us to an amazing restaurant which was one of the best meals we had during our two week trip in India. He went above and beyond and was not trying to push us into any tourist traps. He gave us good advice for the rest of our trip and I would highly recommend booking him if you are looking for a German or English speaking tour guide. We enjoyed his company so much that we invited him to tea and got a lot of local insides to the city and region. Not to forget the private boat ride he was able to organize for us within 10 minutes. 7 stars +
